According to a rough estimate it is being calculated that almost 80 PKR are being invested o a single chick during its production which includes the feeding as well as the vaccinations and treatment excluding the purchasing cost of the chick, so ultimately this business will give more than 90 to 100 PKR profit per chick to the owner, the only focus and emphasis of the producers should be on the controlled shed which are quiet expensive and are not in the range of many of the people living in Pakistan that is why the poultry business is not that much common in the people and very few people have kept them indulged themselves in this business but still there is space for more involvement as well as more improvement in technology and the way of production. any one who wrote this article has very less knowledge about the operation of controlled sheds
first the bird is not sold for 200 rupees in the market, the price is of live bird and not that of meat as people buy in the market
secondly the including the cost of chicks and escalated prices of feed and diesel have put the farmer under huge strees as the cost per bird has reached to 105 if the chick is bought at the price of 30, meaning that there is 70 rupee cost incurred on every chick.
another thing that the rate people see in the market commonly known as “zinda murghi” the farmer has sold to broker that bird at less than 12 to 15 rupees than the zinda price in market and lastly as claimed too have mountainous profits than my friend you are seriously mistaking
please contact a professional farmer before you write something and miss lead other people
