Samsung launching another smart phone; it is the time when each and every company including Nokia, Black Berry and apple are getting unique ideas shaped into mobile phones and spreading them into the market. In this competitive market Samsung is also trying tirelessly to remain in the market of mobile phones. So to accomplish this task and to achieve the desired objective Samsung has launched a new article as Samsung Galaxy Y. in this name “Y” stands for the youth which demonstrates and specify that this mobile is featured considering the youth. This also gives a thought regarding the price as if youth are the users than the price bracket should also be economical also having a stated price of $ 180. We will review the specification and features of this Samsung product.

Several Galaxy Y Review shares the specification with the Galaxy mini. Which includes a slenderer faster 832MHz processor and lesser weight; but the camera present is 2 mega pixels as compared to Galaxy Y which has a 3 mega pixels camera. The Android OS version is the crucial and the most important improvement and upgrading. When we consider the appearance of Galaxy Y we have black on the front only having a chrome-like rim around the screen half. The body has a silvery back.At the rare side the battery cover has elongated edges and has a doted like surface giving a rough feeling from the back like the skin of the snake, which gives a better grip while holding the phone. The mobile thickness is just about 0.45 inch which is 11.5 mm, and the total weight of the phone is 97.5 kg. This is really thin but still it is easy and comfortable to carry. The LCD display is about 3 inches having 240 x 320 pixels of resolution. But it seems brighter than it is stated. The phone has the power or lock button at the right top and the volume controller on the left top, these buttons are easy to feel and convenient t press. A protective flap is placed at the top which is covering the micro USB port.
specifications consist of usage of 2G and 3G network system. The phone has the RAM of 290 MB and the internal memory of 180 MB. A micro SD slot is available also which can cope up with the memory card of up to 32 GB.  The Android OS feature and v2.3.5 which is also called the Gingerbread. The central processing unit is about 830 MHZ ARMv6. Several sensors are also placed in the Samsung Galaxy Y which comprises of Accelerometer, Proximity and Compass. The standard battery Li-lon 1200mAh is being placed inside the mobile so the phone has a stand-by time up to 850 Hrs and a talk time up to 17 Hrs.  So overall a pretty good effort to full fill the customer need; especially focusing the youth in a very economic range of buying.
